I put some leak proof lithium batteries in my old Sony ICF 2002 which is a very fine shortwave radio, that hadn't seen use in more than 20 years. I'm picking up this signal with the built in telescoping antenna and holding the radio in my hand for optimum reception. My radio picks up this signal on 7075 khz. The signal goes on and off at varying intervals from 5 to 12 seconds. The broadcast begins every evening and persist throughout the night and fades with the dawn. Could any Hams with a short wave confirm or identify this signal? What the hell is it, where is it coming from? No one knows. I'm located abt 20 miles East of Albuquerque New Mexico.
