When does 'CAN', ETHICALLY, mean 'SHOULD' ?
Well WE CAN eliminate most forms of violence, so we should. We CAN live perfectly well on a plant-based diet, so we SHOULD. We CAN eliminate all forms of slavery, so we should. We can agree never again to 'go to war', so we should do this. We can agree on rules by which people manage their SELF determination, so we should.
Funny how people tend exclusively and exceptionally to do the BAD things they can. Then even write books, and construct narratives, in which they SHOULD do these bad things. Like bomb villages and towns and cities, of people who decided they wanted to FIRE their current government, and set up their own, which is what Ukraine did to its own citizens. And the Spanish authorities did to their own citizens. And which is going to happen in the U.S, when the SANE informed people decide, like Americans in the South, before them, that they want to FIRE the Federal Government in Washington, and determine their OWN futures.
So next time someone says ... 'I CAN, and some narrative claims I SHOULD', ask them what their CORE VALUES REALLY ARE. And do they think they can behave one way, and others will NOT model their own actions on theirs? Do they think they can say 'Do not kill', and then order Genocide? Or slaughter their own people, because they behave 'heretically'? Or murder defenceless, innocent, animals, simply because they 'like the taste' of their flesh? Or enslave others to build homes for them, and plant and harvest crops for them? Or enslave innocent animals to milk them, steal their eggs, and rape them, then murder their children?
NO-ONE OUT THERE HAS THE KAHUNAS TO ENGAGE IN AN ELENCHUS WITH ME. BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY ARE TALKING SHIT, ALMOST EVERY TIME THEY OPEN THEIR MOUTHS AND VOMIT OUT THE DISINGENUOUS SPECIOUS SOPHISTRY THAT PASSES FOR 'ARGUMENT', UPON WHICH THEIR WORTHLESS 'OPINIONS' ARE BASED.
