- 1st 2 knuckles (punches).
- Back of 1st 2 knuckles (backfist).
- Palm (strike, redirections).
- Side of fist (hammer fists).
- Blade edge (knife hand strikes, blocks, redirections).
- Ridge of hand (side of index knuckle; haito).
- Fingertips (nukite to eyes).
- Web of hand (y-hand to throat).
- Wrist (block, strike. "Kokun", "Bujang").
- Elbow (strikes. Last 2 inches of bony surface, tip of elbow, back of elbow (last 2 inches bony surface).
- Knee (kicks: bottom of quad, just above knee).
- Ball of foot (foot extended, toes pulled back. Front kick, roundhouse kick).
- Instep (Top of foot, foot extended, toes pointed. Up, near the ankle but not on the ankle. Roundhouse kicks).
- Heel (Bottom: stomp/side/back kicks. Back of heel: hook, axe kicks. Last 2 inches of outside edge of heel: crescent kick).
Healthy Training Methods: Only methods honoring the health, function, and longevity of the bodily temple are worthy of your training. Any method (regardless of how old or popular) that violates this principle should be discarded/replaced before (additional) damage occurs. In old age, we pay for the sins of our youth.
