The police response was equally chaotic, with some ticketless fans being beaten, while others were simply granted entry, free of charge. Thousands of fans without tickets descended on Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium before kick-off, causing a panicked response from authorities, with some fans gaining entry only to be brutally beaten by law enforcement, regardless of whether or not they had a ticket.
