Onision was accused of cheating on his wife with a woman he had never even been within 1,000 miles of before... I think he made a joke at one point "Unless my p***s is 1,000 miles long, cheating would have been impossible." - Which is kind of funny........
Anyway, he points out here that the only people he saw during the time people say he cheated, was his male friend and his wife - and that it wasn't till he handed his wife divorce papers that he even expressed feelings for anyone else while he was with his wife... and that's the thing, when you're in the public eye, with some people, everything you do, will be wrong - play by the laws/rules? Wrong wrong wrong. There are so many dishonest people out there who will believe what they want to regardless of the facts (look at anyone engaging in a political debate, you start to see the cult mentality/delusions pretty fast) - So why try right? May as well just do things that allow you to live with yourself, and forget everyone else's made up fantasies about things they didn't witness, don't understand & never experienced in any way.
Again, this doesn't mean you should pretend there aren't rules - just saying, you truly can't please everyone.
Last thing: There is an argument with people who love simple answers in limited contexts that if a person gets defensive, they must be wrong... this is a great example of Onision getting defensive while quite literally being correct and honest with what he is saying. The reason you know this to be true is due to (1) Witnesses (2) Financial records (3) Emails exchanged (4) Common sense reflections on the literal timelines. So it's not a debate about the issue of his loyalty, it is a simple fact that Onision did not do what strangers claimed... and yet he was defensive - just like Onision gets defensive when arguing that circumcision is literally needless infant abuse and that women deserve equal rights --- just a passionate guy.
