New To The Apex Fleet! Mercedes AMG GT! Let's Detail, Correct, Protect It!! n this video, I review the newest addition to the Apex Fleet of toy cars. The Mercedes-AMG GT is a series of 2-door sports cars produced by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG. The car was introduced on 9 September 2014 and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show.[1] While not directly replacing the SLS AMG (competing in a different segment), it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. The Mercedes-AMG GT went on sale in two variants (GT and GT S) in March 2015, while a GT3 racing variant of the car was introduced in 2015. A high performance variant called the GT R was introduced in 2016. A GT4 racing variant, targeted at semi-professional drivers and based on the GT R variant, was introduced in 2017. In 2021, a new variant called the AMG GT Black Series was released. All variants are assembled at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen, Germany. Time to come up with a plan to detail it, correct the paint, and protect it from bumper to bumper.....inside out!

This Is How Gtechniq Durable Tyre Gel T1 V2 Is Holding Up On My Work Truck So Far. In this video, I share my experience with the tire dressing. The Gtechniq T1 Durable Tyre Gel is an easy to use wipe on dressing! Take your favorite applicator pad, add some T1 to the applicator, and wipe onto your trim, tires, rubber, plastic, etc. for a dark sheen. One coat will give you a nice satin finish, but if you are looking for something with more gloss, you can add additional coats after you let the first coat dry. No matter your preference the surface is going to look fantastic upon completion. Dirt, oils, and moisture will simply roll off your tires and trim pieces after using T1 so you clean less often.

This video show how to polish your car and what to use. It also explains the difference between a paint enhancement, one step, and multi-step correction.
Paint Enhancement:
The term is exactly what it sounds like. It's solely to enhance the vehicles true paint color, giving it that additional "pop", or "gloss" factor. This process is typically with a medium to soft polishing pad and can take anywhere between 45 minutes to 2 hours (this time does not reflect the prep work beforehand, just the polishing portion).

Multistage paint correction involves using multiple machines, polishing compounds, and techniques to remove 95% of the paint surface.

C6 Ceramics APP is a water-based formulation utilizing ultra fine aluminum oxide and ceramic resins allowing for a micro fine cut and enhancing the surface. The solvents in the C6 Ceramics APP slightly swell the paint, and the ceramic resins lock it in that state making it more receptive to a ceramic coating.
The easy to use formula works with any ceramic coating to eliminate the need for a panel prep, and will increase the gloss and durability of most coatings.
Ideally used sparingly with our Red Jeweling pad ( dry) and a short stroke (3-9mm) DA polisher. It can also be applied by hand.
C6 Ceramics APP isn’t time sensitive, it can be wiped off with a dry micro fibre towel as you go, or after it’s been applied to the whole vehicle. Ideally apply the coating within 24 hours

In this video, I share a coating that can withstand the vigor of automated car washes. Conveyor-driven/tunnel car wash.
The first conveyor-driven automatic car wash appeared in Hollywood, California, in 1940. Conveyor-driven automatic car washes consist of tunnel-like buildings into which customers (or attendants) drive.
Before entering the automated section of the wash tunnel, attendants may prewash customers' cars.

The car wash typically starts cleaning with chemicals called presoaks applied through special arches. CTAs, or "chemical tire applicators", apply specialized formulations, which remove brake dust and build-up from the surface of the wheels and tires.
A high-pressure arch may direct water at the vehicle's surface at the end of a car wash's presoak.

The car is rinsed with fresh water immediately, followed by extra services if required. In many car washes, the first of these services is a polish wax. After the polish, the wax application is typically a retractable mitter or top brush and, in some cases, side brushes or wrap-around brushes. Next is a protectant, which creates a thin protective film over a vehicle's surface. Protectants generally repel water, which assists in drying the car and aiding in the driver's ability to see through their windshield during rain. A low-end wax or clear coat protectant follows the primary protectant. A drying agent is typically applied at the end of the tunnel to remove water from the vehicle's surface before forced air drying.
