Charlotte NC - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to an armed subject call for service. This area was being actively monitored by surveillance cameras used by CMPD’s Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) as part of the department’s crime reduction initiatives. During this time, members of the RTCC observed a male subject on the video surveillance remove a firearm, which had been concealed within the waistband of his clothing and manipulate the firearm before further concealing it back into his clothing. RTCC notified officers of the armed subject prior to their arrival on scene.
Upon arrival, officers exited their patrol vehicles and observed what appeared to be a drug transaction between the armed subject, 33-year-old Timothy Deangelo Moore, and another individual in a parking lot. As officers approached, Moore, who is known to Metro Division officers, fled the area on foot. Officers issued multiple verbal commands for Moore to show his hands.
During the short foot pursuit, Moore retrieved a firearm from his waistband and turned his body in the direction of the officer. The officer perceived an imminent and lethal threat and fired a single shot at Moore, causing him to fall to the ground. Officers quickly placed Moore into custody, recovered the firearm and began to render medical aid. The Charlotte FD and MEDIC responded to the scene. MEDIC transported Moore to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No officers were injured in this incident.
Upon Moore’s release from the hospital, he was transferred into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the following: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Resisting a Public Officer and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
Moore has since been released from the Mecklenburg County Jail.

Bodycam from Brunswick PD at Buzzard's Roost in Hinckley, OH shows alleged drunk off-duty ATF/DEA/HSI agents illegally detain a man, reports show multiple charges on the agents, including abduction.
Brunswick PD in Ohio responded to a disturbance call in the neighboring town of Hinckley. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men on the ground, with one restraining the other. As soon as officers arrive, one suspect, identified as Dan Lajack, introduces himself to Brunswick PD as a DEA agent. The man on the ground with the victim was identified as Donald Kopchak, an ATF agent. The victim in this case is a male truck driver from Ft. Worth, TX.
The narrative shown in the video seems to suggest that the agents and the victims were both patrons at the same bar when the agents began to question the man about where he was from and his citizenship status. They believed him to be here illegally, are repeatedly seen saying that they believe he is Israeli, and they express repeated concerns that he could “blow up a mall” and similar.
Their ‘concerns’ appear to have escalated to the point that they identified themselves to the victim as federal agents, physically detained him and did not allow him to leave or contact law enforcement, and removed him physically from the bar with his hands behind his back before taking him to the ground and restraining him there until the police arrived.
In fact, the man appears to be a U.S. citizen who arrived here legally as a refugee from Eritrea and was just in the area delivering to a local grocery store. There is no suggestion that he made any statements or acted in any way to arouse suspicion, and police reports obtained from Hinckley PD show charges against the agents stemming from the incident.

Per OP: Wow, what a weekend! This was the first time I had the cops called on me. I'm thankful it all worked out - as 99% of the neighborhood was happy I was there. There was an old abandoned house that was an eye sore for everyone and which the city asked if I could help out with. I was happy to help and thrilled with the results.

Atlanta police killed a 22-year-old man named Nygil Cullins at a Buckhead steakhouse after experiencing a mental health crisis. Quinten and Mya Cullins are both overcome with grief and anger by their son’s death at the upscale Fogo De Chao. Nygil’s parents are now demanding that officers are trained to become better equipped to deal with people in the community who have mental health issues.
Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton Jr. said the restaurant staff alerted his department about an armed and unruly customer. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Nygil close to the bar and attempted to escort him off the property. However, he was uncooperative, and one of the officers decided to use a stun gun; Hampton noted that it “had a negative effect on the subject.” Law enforcement members continued to struggle with Nygil near the restaurant’s entrance, where he attempted to leave before being tackled by a security guard. Cullins pulled out his weapon during their scuffle and fired one shot, striking the security guard in the hand. The officers returned fire, and killed Cullins, said Hampton.
According to Mya Cullins, she called 911 and told them that her son had bipolar schizophrenia and needed to be taken to a mental health facility. She tried to convince her son to stay at his apartment until help arrived, but he eventually left. Later, she learned of her son’s death on the news. “He left. Not even 30 or 40 minutes later, he’s on the news,” said Mya. “He battled mental health for a while. We always tried to get him help dealing with his depression and bipolar (disorder). That is what we were trying to do yesterday,” said Nygil’s father. “We called 911 for them to bring someone out. His mom got on the phone and made clear we were dealing with our son. We just needed someone to come and help us to get him to the hospital.” Nygil’s parents said their son was happy and loving.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will examine the incident and give its results to the Fulton County District Attorney.

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in an incident in which an officer discharged his duty weapon at the suspect.
The suspect, Christopher Michael Rodriguez, 36, is charged with aggravated assault of a public servant, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm. Rodriguez remains hospitalized.
Officer J. Eakins, who discharged his duty weapon, was not injured in the incident. He is assigned to the North Patrol Division and was sworn in as an officer in November 2020.
HPD Special Investigations Unit Sergeant D. Lane and Detectives O. Flores, J. Montalvo and W. Elliott reported: An HPD patrol officer was patrolling the area near the above address and heard gunshots. The officer drove to the location and saw a male suspect, armed with a pistol, running in front of the store. Officer Eakins exited his patrol vehicle and gave the suspect verbal commands to drop the pistol. The suspect did not comply and instead, ran the opposite way with the pistol still in his hand. Officer Eakins continued to give the suspect verbal commands to drop the pistol.
As the suspect fled, he turned toward the officer with the pistol in his hand. Fearing for his safety, Officer Eakins discharged his duty weapon several times and the suspect was struck. Officer Eakins detained the suspect until additional patrol officers arrived and provided medical assistance to the suspect. Houston FD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the suspect to an area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
A preliminary investigation determined the gunshots fired by the suspect, later identified as Rodriguez, were a result of an altercation he had with another male. Rodriguez admitted to firing his weapon into the air just prior to officers arriving on scene. He was subsequently charged for his role in the incident.

I built a homemade RC boat trailer, wanted to test it out. I went to the Madisionville PUBLIC boat launch to test out my creation. The cops showed up and ruined my original plans for the video. The Police said we can't play with a RC boats there, made us leave or they will write us a ticket for being there."

Cleveland OH - A three-year-old boy was "randomly" targeted and stabbed to death outside an Ohio supermarket while his mother was loading groceries into the back of her car.
Margot Wood, 38, and her son Julian Wood, 3, were attacked while loading groceries at Giant Eagle in North Olmstead, near Cleveland OH. Police called the attack an 'entirely a random act of violence', and said the woman had no known motive.
Julian suffered several fatal stab wounds while sitting in a shopping trolley. The mother sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both were rushed to St. John Medical Center.
Bionca Ellis, 32, was arrested while walking away from the scene, still holding the bloodied kitchen knife used in the attack. Ellis had been arrested days earlier on a parole violation after an unrelated incident at a Walmart but was released.
Ellis has been charged with aggravated murder and her bail was set at $1 million.
